THE AUTHOR

Brendilynn Mantey-Annor is an Edmonton Canadian-Ghanaian Christian author of children’s books and her Christian fantasy debut novel, Ember in the Mist. 

 

She graduated from the University of Alberta (Faculty Saint-Jean) in 2019 with a Bachelor of Education in French, with inclusive ​education. After completing her degree early in December 2018, she divided right into teaching, tutoring sessions and other community involvement. 

 

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Brendilynn is currently a Grade 6 French Immersion teacher. Connecting with students has been such a passion for her. Reaching students to guide them better has always been faithful to her heart.

 

In 2020, life hauled for many. The uncertain situation helped Brendilynn return to her first love; writing books. She started a self-publishing company in the spring of 2020. 

 

Brendilynn’s dedication to the French Immersion program as a teacher and writer has inspired her to provide her children's books in both English and French. Also, Brendilynn has a YouTube channel that discusses her journey as an author, gives tips and shares her experience and faith.

Outside of writing and teaching, Brendilynn is a follower of Christ Jesus, a loving sister and daughter, a coach and a French tutor.
